Nangarhar University

Nangarhar University is the second university in Afghanistan. It is established in 1964 and located in Nangarhar Province which in eastern region of Afghanistan. At first time was one faculty (faculty of Medical Sciences), which was located in Daroonta, Surkhrood district of Nangarhar Province. Nangarhar University developed to four faculties in 1978 by establishment of faculty of Agriculture, faculty of Engineering and faculty Education. This University developed into five faculties by establishment of Faculty of Literature in 1985. Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, Faculty of Shariah and Faculty of Veterinary Sciences in 1992 and it has nine faculties right now these are as following:
Faculty of Medical Sciences.
Faculty of Agriculture.
Faculty of Engineering.
Faculty of Education.
Faculty of Literature.
Faculty of Economics.
Faculty of Shariah.
Faculty of Veterinary Sciences.
Faculty of Law and Political Sciences.
